UPCOMING EVENTS

Are you curious about rope or shibari? Are you a performer in the creative spaces and wish to learn elements of shibari as an art form, away from it’s k$nk associations to incorporate it into your creative flow? Studio 723 is hosting a space for performers and other creatives to come learn some basic elements of rope/shibari and rope safety. Or come explore creative connections in rope and experience the sensations of rope from the perspective being tied. Just bring yourself and some comfortable clothes. Both tying pairs and self-tiers are welcome. There will be community rope available to use for learning. Space is limited to 25 attendees and will be a ticketed event. Please consider that when you RSVP. By claiming a spot, that means someone else may not attend. 

Note: This event is focused on rope education and creative connections. This event is not intended for intimate/dating connections. We ask that everyone respect a “No cruising” environment and not bring that energy to the event. You are welcome to bring your own rope if you have it. There will be a bin of community rope that you may use during the event.

Charli Ropes‍ ‍

Charli is a shibari performer, educator, and artist who has studied rope across the country and internationally, They primarily tie others and self suspend, but they also have over half a decade as a rope bottom. Charli uses rope as a form of self expression, storytelling, and connection, and enjoys teaching about safety, consent and self-advocacy in rope. 

StDysseus

StDysseus is a local shibari educator, performer, and rigger with over 5 years experience. Currently he manages the rope program of a local lifestyle group focused on education, informed and negotiated consent, and safety. StDysseus is predominantly a rope top/rigger and seeks to blend the pragmatic physics of rope with creative aesthetics concepts, using rope as manifestation of intention.
